It’s a little difficult for me to gauge what I think so far — I’m not nearly as well read as you are — and thus must take what you say at face value.

Can I request that you review ‘A Time Traveler’s Wife’, which you mentioned in your last post, just to act as a baseline for me? It’s one of the few works of “literature” that I’ve read recently. Other nominees: ‘Life of Pi’, ‘After Dark’, and ‘White Teeth’

Not requesting that you review all of them. Just one, to get a sense of what you see in a book.
